Botanical Trend Press
As a designer its always great to not only see your product in store, but also in magazines. If you follow my instagram account or twitter you will know that I usually show all the designs that I have done. This month was no exception as I made my monthly trip to the newsagent and looked through the magazines. This month several magazines featured the leafy pattern I designed for the Botanical trend for Sainsburys. Again I work with a great team of designers Alex, Louise and Amy who also designed the products featured in these pages.
Style at Home had a two page feature which looks great. I like the way the tropical outdoor cushions look in the garden scene. These cushions would look great in any garden as we approach Summer.
April's issue of Home Style also featured the tropical leafy pattern in their Shop the high street article.
Mays issue of Marie Claire again featured a two page spread showing the Botanical trend. I especially liked this shoot as the Cushion looks great on the chair. The embroidered cushion on the left hand page featured my painted fern motifs and are also on the storage boxes.
Country Homes featured the embroidered botanist cushion in their May issue:
Last but not the least House Beautiful again featured the embroidered Botanical cushion,
So as you can see the Botanical trend is key this season, and I'm really excited about this trend as its ideal for Spring/summer. These lush prints would look great in any home or in the garden. The melamine set for outdoors fits perfectly with this trend to. So why not pop down to your local Sainsbury's store and check out the ranges. I hope you enjoyed looking at these magazine shoots and I will be posting some more in the months to come.
have a great day
