Floral Trend Prints
Here at Mad Fun Creative we love all things pattern, so every week we will be showing you our picks of the best print designs, both on catwalk and high street.
This week we are mad about florals, a trend that is certainly key this season. When we say florals we mean full on garden blooms, all over patterns and placement florals. This featured trend is all about the flower on the white or pale ground.
It's what we saw on the Spring summer 2016 ready to wear collections in particular from D & G and also Emilia Wickstead as seen in our trend board. It's a quintessentially english look with the floral bouquets and roses. There is also a feel of English garden with the delicate wildflower type illustrations in some of the prints.
Of course the high street were bound to go crazy for these looks delivering some great garments at affordable prices.
We've selected four of our favourites this week. The Oasis shirt with its great placement will look fantastic tucked into high waist jeans or a pencil skirt for a smarter look. The warehouse Top is really fresh looking with its white ground and again can be dressed up or down, but certainly teamed with classic denim it will look fab. We love the Oasis t.shirt with the yellow marigold type flower and old fashioned rose. And finally this tunic top from Zara, is another bold statement choice with its painted lilies.
I think we're going to have to say this one is our favourite this week, and its a great price at £45 you really can't go wrong. Wear with skinny jeans as shown here or wear as a dress. We've seen a lot of the dress over jeans look in the magazines in particular the street style shots. Make sure you are going for a slim fit straight leg or skinny jean with this look so it stays sleek and stylish. If Skinny jeans are not an option for you why not try a denim look jegging.
I hope you like our choices this week and happy shopping
